MarketYard is a product of Alpharithmic LLC (New Jersey, USA).
What we collect
Waitlist form: your email address and, if you provide them, your role (seller/buyer), inventory categories, approximate monthly volume, metro area, and whether you want price comps. We use this to prioritize onboarding and to contact you about MarketYard — nothing else.
Site analytics: we count page views first-party, storing only the page path and the referring site. We do not use cookies, advertising trackers, or third-party analytics, and we do not store your IP address or fingerprint your browser.
Signing in: your email address, and the times you requested a sign-in link. To stop the sign-in form being abused to send mail to people who never asked for it, we also store a one-way cryptographic fingerprint of the connecting network address — computed with a secret key, so it cannot be turned back into an address, and used only to tell one source of requests apart from another. We do not store the address itself, and the fingerprint is deleted after 30 days.
What we don't do
We don't sell or share your information with anyone. We don't send marketing beyond MarketYard onboarding updates and, if you asked for them, price comps. Every email we send includes a way to opt out.
Removal
Want your information deleted? Reply to any email we've sent you, or email hello@marketyard.com, and we'll remove your record.
This policy covers the current MarketYard website and self-serve product. It will be expanded as we add features (e.g. payment processing details) — material changes will be noted here with an updated date.
